Elfarian's lineage dates back to a line of mystics that once participated in imperialistic conquest of Allemantheia's part. His great grandfather, Balwerd the Strong, was a long lived veteran both praised and hated amongst his kind. Responsible for many grave atrocities during the war; it should come as no surprise that when the Elven Empire crumbled, Balwerd was executed. The House of Nevadarn was forever shamed by their role in the war. Bearing the foul legacy of his ancestors, Elfarian hoped to undo the tragedies of the past by joining the ranks of Valkyon Federation. While he only spent a few years serving under Valkyon's banners, Elfarian's adept practice of magic won him strong favor with the expedition team sent to explore the newly arisen "Island of Dawn".

Everything the people of Tera once knew of their world was tossed to the wind once this strange island erupted from the sea. Nestled between the bodies the two great continents of Arun and Shara, this island won great interest from Elfarian. Many believed that the continents themselves were the bodies of the Titans, and just as many believed their tears filled the sea that surrounds them. Many from the Federation Capital of Velika set out to explore this island, and for many years the scientists seemed quite surprised by what they found. While adventuring through the gorge alongside Elleon, the leader of their expedition, it was there that Elfarian first caught a glimpse of the threat lurked within the chasm. Demonic beasts of various shapes and sizes emerged from the gorge, each more sinister than the next. Many scientists were killed during the onslaught, and their leader was lost.

Why was it that such beasts would call this newly found island their home when it didn't exist before? Also, why were there artifacts that date back to the Elder Days of Tera that haven't been discovered before? With so many mysteries to unravel, Elfarian vowed silently to attain the truth no matter the cost.

There has to be a reason why this strange island was home to demons, wildlife, and spirits alike.

The first thing anyone may notice about Elfarian's personality is his somewhat harsh demeanor. The sorcerer isn't the kind of elf to hold back his words, and is quick to judge as much as he's quick to dislike. He's brash and bold, a combination that doesn't always go well. While's he's not exactly a bad or unfriendly person perse, Elfarian certain comes with a whole network of flaws that he covers up with his assumed lordliness. The elf carries himself with a form of "arrogance" that would undoubtedly irritate others. He has a slight superiority complex, something which is very common amongst the Elves of Allemantheia. He's distant and emotionless to some degree. Hardly willing to let go of his mask of arrogance. Elfarian takes himself too seriously, almost to the point that it's nearly laughable at times. He's quick to anger, but slow to forgive. Definitely rather immature and heavily flawed in that way. The elf is known to hold a grudge for the pettiest of reasons, and sometimes act on them. Quite delightful, no? His childish and arrogant ways certainly land him within a world of trouble, but Elfarian can be quite charming when he wants to be. It's just a shame that majority of them time he acts as if he's too good for this damn world, and everyone in it.

However, what he lacks in emotions he makes up with his strength. Elfarian is a dedicated soldier of the Valkyon Federation and will stop at nothing to pursue the goals of the Federation. His devotion to the Federation is willed by his deep admiration for Lord Elleon Kubel, their most decorated warrior. While many doubt that Elfarian shall reach Elleon's level of greatness, the young sorcerer is determined to do just that. He almost blindly tosses himself into danger in hopes of proving himself in the eyes of the Federation. But his reckless actions often come at a hefty price. His dedication to the Federation is what makes this young sorcerer shine amongst others.

Elfarian is a driven and avid practitioner of the arcane arts. His greatest joy in life is studying within the Arcane Collegium in the Capital City of Velika. While the vast libraries of the Collegium pale in comparison to that of Allemantheia's; Elfarian spends endless hours studying and practicing various spells in his leisure. He likes to be alone, and often enjoys reading a book or tome more so than interacting with others. However, his preference for solitude is rather contradictory at best. He's lonesome, terribly lonesome. His fascination over books is driven by his own lonesomeness. It's easier for him to lose himself in a good story than it is for him to make friends. Not many people are willing to put up with someone as woefully bratty as Elfarian. Many simply roll their eyes or storm away. His lonesomeness definitely his fault since, to a degree, Elfarian doesn't know how to talk to people. He's so busy trying to make himself seem superior to all, that he often ends up irritating others. Some humbling is sorely needed before Elfarian can see the fault in his ways. While he's not exactly mean-spirited, the elf certainly lacks a certain level of respect for others.

Centuries ago, in a realm marred with chaos and war, the Great Titans Arun and Shara fled from their dying world. Using a power far greater and ancient than any known, these gods shaped a new world and left the strife behind. The shed themselves of both their hatred and sorrows, and fell into an eternal sleep beneath the soil. It was there that the two closed their eyes and dreamed of a world dedicated to peace.

In their sleep, they cried, and their tears formed a great sea that covered the world. All manners of life forged from their tears, many of which were more unique than the next. Their slumbering hearts became the pillars of this world, the Fountain of Shara and the Fountain of Arun. The power of these holy fountains are said to be the heart of Tera, the raw energy that makes the world turn.

While the selfish desires of their offspring nearby brought this world to destruction, it would seem now that all the races of Tera now fight together as one in the form of the Valkyon Federation. Once the brutal wars here ended, the Federation was created from the ashes of the fallen. Pleading their loyalty to the Titans' dream, the Valkyon Federation act as the unified government of Tera. The Capital City of Velika acts as the seat of the Federation, and many come to explore the historic depths of this human made city. Even though tensions between the races still run high, the Valkyon Federation's creed for peace holds strong in the face of a new foe known as the Argon.
